OUR AGREEMENTS
HOW DO WE OPERATE IN MEXICO
I Have a Voice enters into an agreement with local orphanages in respect of establishing an I Have a Voice choir.
This agreement is set out in a ‘letter of agreement’ between I Have a Voice and the Orphanage that states:
The Orphanage has:
Asked for and received the Choir in a Box;
Agreed that I Have A Voice will provide for the attendance of a Choirmaster at the orphanage at agreed times;
Agreed that the Choirmaster is bound by:
The child protection policies of the orphanage; and
The relevant state regulation in respect of working with children;
Will provide reports to I Have A Voice about the programs outcomes, including any concerns.
I Have a Voice will:
Provide the ‘Choir in a Box’; and
Pay for the services of the local Choirmaster; and
For an agreed period.
I Have a Voice does not provide any funding to the Orphanages directly, and instead contracts directly with the Choirmasters.
