Choir master

Leia Alejandra Corona Padilla has been with IHAVOC since early 2024, transforming lives through music and art as a choir teacher at Casa Hogar Irekani. With over eight years of experience working with children, Leia combines her passion for singing with a deep commitment to their emotional well-being, creating a space where they can freely express themselves and find joy in every note.

Her involvement with IHAVOC stems from a strong connection to the project’s mission and a desire to be part of the meaningful changes being achieved. For Leia, the importance of this work lies in providing emotional support through art, helping children build confidence and happiness. She finds immense fulfillment in singing, playing, and sharing moments of warmth and connection with the kids, knowing these experiences have a lasting impact.

One of the most rewarding aspects of her role is witnessing the children’s progress in class and seeing their happiness while singing, regardless of technical perfection. For Leia, success is reflected in their smiles and in their excitement to apply musical knowledge to other areas of their lives. Looking ahead, she is excited about new repertoires and the children’s continued growth, hoping they will increasingly enjoy music and find inspiration and well-being through it.
