Hogar para niños Morelia A.C.
The Orphanage hosts children between the ages of 2 and 19 years of age and the 41 students above the age of 4 join in our bi-weekly program.
Esmeralda Jiménez Olmos, our choir master here has developed the group to sing in 3 voices and has noted the excellent natural talent of some of the children. Recently, the group have been singing a combination of traditional and international music that has included titles such as The Witch, Drunken Sailor, La Ola Loca, La Bikina and The Rattlesnake.
Esmeralda loves the reception she gets from the group when she arrives, their joy and enthusiasm for singing and rehearsing always leaves her feeling motivated and proud of their achievements.
