Rogelio Vazquez Carmona

Choir Master

Rogelio Vazquez Carmona has been with I Have a Voice Orphans Choir since the last half of 2021, when he became Choir Master at the Instituto en pro de la Mujer y la Niñez A.C.

He is involved with IHAVOC because of the support he sees the children receive in this program, building an integral platform for their future in life

Being a part of a like-minded community and the companionship that accompanies it is his favourite part about his role with our organisation. He brings several years of choral experience with students of different ages and has also studied music to the project. Rogelio draws a lot of satisfaction from putting in a collaborative effort to make the best possible musical montages and assisting the individual development of student voices.

“I feel very good and satisfied with the work we have done. Sharing that experience of having done the best job possible, not only musically but also supporting development for life.”

He believes that when the members of the choir are satisfied, happy and proud of their best effort and that they are recognised by their loved ones and their acquaintances, he has done his job well. Collectively, the organisation has achieved so much and Rogelio is excited about the future.

“I am excited to support the comprehensive development of children and youth in Mexico and that they continue to seek means for them to grow as more sensitive men and women through choral musical practice and with a discipline that allows them to achieve their goals in what they aim to achieve in life.”
