Orientacion Juvenil Femenina Casa de Jesus en Celaya
After the success of our choir program in Casa de Jesus Morelia, we were able to expand our program into Guanajuato - a neighbouring state in Mexico.
At the start of 2022, we had 11 children participating in our program at Orientacion Juvenil Femenina Casa de Jesus en Celaya. The students aged between 12 and 15 years of age join our Choir Master Isabel Rico Galicia twice a week and have really enjoyed the start of the program.
Not only have the choir been working on their vocal range and tonal work, the students have enjoyed combining small elements of choreography and movement to make a more dynamic and engaging performance.
Isabel says that the choir has given her the opportunity to work with girls full of love, love for life and a real passion for music. Her students really enjoy coming to class and look forward to learning a new tunes every day.
