Josue Astudillo Tenorio is a passionate choral director dedicated to transforming lives through the power of music. At Los Pequeños Hermanos Miacatlán, he inspires children and young people to discover their potential, strengthen their self-esteem, and express their emotions in a positive and meaningful way. His work emphasises the role of music in building social skills, fostering teamwork, and reconnecting participants with their identity while creating lasting, positive memories.
As a lifelong advocate for choral music, Josue draws on decades of experience performing on renowned stages such as the Palacio de Bellas Artes and Blas Galindo Auditorium, as well as with opera and choral groups across Mexico and internationally. He has held leadership roles as the founder or director of various choirs, including the Arión Vocal Ensemble, Cenzontle Choir, and Cantati Don Bosco Choir. His expertise also extends to teaching music at the secondary and university levels, mentoring students to embrace discipline, artistry, and professional possibilities in music.
Josue's favorite part of his work is witnessing the emotional and personal growth of children and young people. Seeing their joy and perseverance motivates him to create supportive environments where they can thrive and dream of a brighter future. Through his vision, Josue aims to open opportunities for his singers to explore the world and share their experiences with peers, spreading the beauty and excitement of choral music far and wide.
