Choir master

Félix Daniel Ruiz Hernández has been a part of IHAVOC for three months, taking on the role of choir teacher. Despite his relatively recent involvement, Félix’s passion and dedication shine through in his work with the organization. He views his participation in IHAVOC as deeply significant, not only for himself but also for the children he teaches. For Félix, this role is an opportunity to develop new skills and explore the transformative power of music as a healing tool for everyone involved.

One of Félix’s favorite aspects of his work is witnessing the progress his students make in every class. Whether the improvements are small or large, these advancements serve as a constant source of inspiration for him to teach more effectively and continue refining his approach. He feels a profound sense of fulfillment and motivation when his efforts yield positive results, driving him to strive for even greater accomplishments.

Currently studying choral conducting, Félix draws upon his academic journey to excel in his role at IHAVOC. This experience has broadened his horizons, both musically and personally, enabling him to connect with his students in meaningful ways. He measures success through the incremental progress of his students, seeing each step forward as a milestone that reaffirms the value of his work.

Looking toward the future, Félix is excited about the potential growth of IHAVOC and the impact it will continue to have on children’s lives. He envisions the organization reaching every corner of Mexico and beyond, transforming lives just as it is doing now. For Félix, IHAVOC is not just a project—it’s a movement with the power to create lasting change, and he feels honored to be a part of it. Long live IHAVOC!
