Uriel Mayolo Ortega

Coordinator Puebla and Assessor

With over 20 years of experience as a choral director and a decade dedicated to training young directors, Uriel Mayolo Ortega is a passionate advocate for social impact through music. He believes in leaving the world better than he found it and is deeply committed to fostering opportunities for children to discover and nurture their talents through initiatives like I Have a Voice.

Uriel's philosophy is simple: success is reflected in the bright eyes of those he works with. His greatest achievements are seeing the transformative impact of his work, like the professional learning he delivered to our choir directors across the I Have a Voice Orphans Choir locations in August 2024.

He is motivated by the vision of creating happy childhood memories for children singing in choirs, some of whom may grow up to become musicians. Uriel's dedication to sharing his knowledge with young directors and shaping better citizens for Mexico reflects his belief in the power of music as a tool for change.

Always striving for excellence, Uriel's joy lies in contributing to a growing project that reaches more children every day, ensuring they experience the joy and connection of choral music.
