Casa Hogar Soledad Gutierrez de Figaredo
One of our largest choirs, the 48 enthusiastic students aged between 5 and 12 sing twice a week at Casa Hogar Soledad Gutierrez de Figaredo in Morelia, Michoacan.
Not only are the children working on the number of voices they can sing but have been able to commit a number of new songs to memory. The choirs are learning appropriate techniques for tuning and voice placement.
Choir Master Elizabeth Espejel has been working with them since the start of 2022 and has mentioned that their enthusiasm is infectious and their commitment fills him with such joy and satisfaction during rehearsals.
