A very good day to you. I am Sister Patricia Perez Monje. I am the Principal of  the home for girls “Casa de Jesus para Proteccion de la Nina AC”.

We are very happy with the Project Martha has brought to us. We welcome her visits as she comes to see the progress of our girls.

She is a very sensitive benefactor, understanding the needs of the girls.

I feel that these girls of Morelia, of Michoacan State are very artistic and bring this in their very being to the singing classes, the choir project Martha has brought to us.

Usually they learn songs from Michoacan, songs they love, and that help them to appreciate their culture.

It is an integral part of their development. 

To be able to attend a singing class you need to acquire discipline, to learn how to follow instructions, and how to tune your voice. 

Since a year ago when they started, they have made great progress.

The girls are very awake, alert and very sensitive to the choir. They love the music.

Finally, they find it possible to discover their talents and feelings for the music especially if they have singing abilities or can simply follow their teacher.

But MORE THAN ANYTHING this is a personal therapy. With the music they forget their problems, they distract themselves. 

Their choir is an hour of recreation and learning.

And they heal their souls with the music!

We are very grateful that they have this opportunity.

If we did not have this support, the girls would miss this time to develop these capacities they have within their selves.

We are very thankful to Martha for choosing us at La Casa de Jesus!
